Saturn

Saturn is the 6th farthest planet from the sun and is the 2nd largest planet in the solar system. Saturn average density is actually lowest than that of the water and for it six it rotates rapidly and has flowing belts and zones. Saturn’s atmosphere is dominated by hydrogen and helium. It is motley likely fluid throughout with a small, solid core and a magnetic field that is 1000 times stronger than earth’s. Saturn’s magnetic field is aligned with its rotational axis, which is unusual among the planets.

The most distinctive feature that Saturn has is it ring that larer and brighter than any other at the gas planets. There is a major rings are they are composed of piece of rocks and ice.

Comets

Comets are small, icy bodies that have highly eccentric orbits around the sun. They can arrange anywhere from 1 to 10 km and they are made of ice and rock. The 2 clusters (clouds) of comets are the kuper belt which is close to Pluto and the Dort cloud lays more than 100,000 av from the sun. Commentary orbits are highly eccentric. Some stretch far beyond the orbit of Pluto at a aphelion, while other come very close to the sun at Spherion.

Mercury

Mercury is the closest planet to the sun and has no moon. It has a slow spin of 1407. 6 hours revealed radio observations in the 1960’s. Mercury is about 1/3 the size of earth and has no atmosphere. The little that does exist is mode up of oxygen and sodium. The temperature on mercury can be anywhere between 700k (427 °C) to 100k (-173° C). 700k being daytime temp. And 100 k being nightfall temp. The surface of mercury is covered with craters like earth’s moon. The surface gravity of mercury is much more grater than that of the moon, and thus crater walls and peaks are lower and eject are shorter in length than those on the moon. Mercury has scarps which are planet wide system of cliffs. Forty-two percent of mercury’s volume is made up of extensive nickel iron or which is probably the cause of the high density of the planet. Mercury’s small size, high density and probable molten interior zone resemble what earth might be like it is crust and mantle were removed.

Venus

Venus is the second closest planet to the sun. Venus also has no moons, like mercury. Venus is the brightest planet in earth’s night time sky because it is close and because it Aledo 0.75. the Aledo of Venus is the highest of any planet. Venus thick clouds prevent astronomers from directly observing the surface, except at radio wave length, studies made in 1960 show that Venus is a not planet that rotates slowly. One day on venus is 243 earth days in length. The back ward spin of venus would make the sun rise at the west and set at the east. The 1978 pioneer venus and the 1989 megallan missions of the united states used radar to map up to 98 percent of the surface of venus. The planet that is most like earth in diameter mass and density is venus. The average timp. Is 737k the atmospheric pressure is 92 atmosphere
